The Alumni Association was formally established in 2017 (before that it was a small group of Alumni who kept in touch regularly on WhatsApp and who, through their passion to remain connected, decided to come together to form the Alumni Association).
We are a 10-member executive council, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria, operating by a jointly-formed constitution, and are the official conduit of communication between our Alma Mater, Louisville Girls High School , Ijebu-Itele, and its Alumni. We foster a cordial relationship between LGHS Ijebu-Itele and its Alumni by maintaining a relevant presence at every event hosted by the school, holding a meeting with the Principal and Liaison Officer of LGHS at least once a year to address matters arising.
We support the needs of the Alumni, as may arise. We encourage the students in their pursuit of moral and academic excellence by presenting the ‘Louizian Award’. We celebrate the achievements of the Alumni members worldwide.
Celebrate milestone graduation years (5, 10, 20+). Family-friendly activities, campus tours, and themed dinners planned.
Reconnect, grow, and celebrate your shared legacy with fellow alumni through gatherings designed to inspire and unite. Whether you’re reigniting old friendships at a reunion, gaining career insights from industry leaders, or giving back through mentorship and service, our events are crafted to foster lifelong connections and meaningful impact.
