—About Us
The Alumnae Association was formally established in 2017 (before that it was a small group of Alumnae who kept in touch regularly on WhatsApp and who, through their passion to remain connected, decided to come together to form the Alumnae Association).
We are a 10-member executive council, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria, operating by a jointly-formed constitution, and are the official conduit of communication between our Alma Mater, Louisville Girls High School , Ijebu-Itele, and its Alumnae. We foster a cordial relationship between LGHS Ijebu-Itele and its Alumnae by maintaining a relevant presence at every event hosted by the school, holding a meeting with the Principal and Liaison Officer of LGHS at least once a year to address matters arising.
We support the needs of the Alumnae, as may arise. We encourage the students in their pursuit of moral and academic excellence by presenting the ‘Alumnae Award’. We celebrate the achievements of the Alumnae members worldwide.
